NASD maintains a professional staff of eleven full-time and two part-time members at its National Office in Reston, Virginia. The staff provides technical services, information, and assistance to members of the Association and interested individuals in areas related to music training, education, and the arts. Staff members also carry out the administrative functions of the Association, including accreditation coordination, accounting, correspondence, policy analysis, and publishing. The National Office maintains files of materials relevant to accreditation actions of the Association. Public access to these files is only by written permission of the applicable member institution.
