Dear Commission Members,
We look forward to working with you in Milwaukee in the coming weeks.
Attached, please find for your information an overview schedule for the week. A detailed schedule will be provided with materials to you on site. Commission materials will be available for reading beginning 12:00 noon on Sunday, September 8. Materials will be in the Crystal room. The first formal obligation for all Commission members is the briefing on Monday, September 9 at 9:00 a.m.
A copy of the NASD Manual for Commission Readers is attached for your consideration. All Commission members are asked to review this document prior to arrival in Milwaukee. This document has been updated since the last Commission meeting, and therefore, we suggest a fresh review, particularly of information found in the Compendium.
We ask that you review current standards and guidelines found in the current NASD Handbook 2023-24.
Each Commission member will be provided with hard copy materials on site, including the Commission’s agenda, Commission Blue Sheets, the Manual for Commission Readers, and the Handbook. Each Commission member will also receive on site electronic copies of the current Handbook and any addenda, the Manual for Commission Readers, and Commission Action Report templates for each institution assigned to each reader.
As a reminder, please bring with you a laptop with USB capabilities. If you have a newer computer, such as a Mac, you may need to bring a multiport adapter.
