Laurie Benold Locke

Laurie Locke resides in Georgetown, Texas. She has been engaged in private practice in psychotherapy in since 2001, working with adult and adolescent individuals, couples, and families. Previously, she was a marriage and family therapy intern in family systems at the Austin Academy for Individual and Relationship Therapy, and as a therapist/group therapist working with drug and alcohol addiction, criminal behavior, personality reorganization, abuse, and trauma at the Central Texas Treatment Center in Granger, Texas.

In addition, Ms. Locke owned and operated “Laurie’s,” a specialty food shop/tearoom/catering business for six years, and has written a weekly cooking column for The Williamson County Sun newspaper for the last thirty years.

Ms. Locke earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in Education from Austin College in Sherman, Texas, and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, California.
