Hotel Reservations and Cut-Off Date
To make hotel reservations for the NASD Annual Meeting, please visit Hyatt Regency Milwaukee – NASD Reservations.
The NASD group rate is only available online via the website linked above. Do not use the hotel website or the Hyatt Hotels website to make room reservations. There is no need to enter a group code when utilizing the website linked above.
Should additional assistance be required, please call (414) 276-1234. Request the “National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD)” block to receive the group rate and request a written confirmation of your reservation.
It is imperative to have written confirmation of your reservation before leaving for Milwaukee. Registrants should correspond directly with the hotel if confirmation is not received within a reasonable amount of time.
The Hyatt Regency Milwaukee is holding preferred reservations for NASD through Friday, August 16. After that date, room assignments will be made on a space-available basis, and the NASD group rate may not be offered. Prospective attendees whose plans are uncertain at this time are encouraged to make reservations now, and cancel later if necessary. (Please review hotel policies regarding the time frame for cancellation without penalty.) Once the hotel is sold out, or the NASD room block is filled, other accommodations will need to be secured. Unfortunately, NASD is not able to assist participants in finding alternate lodging.
Room Rate and Amenities
The room rate for NASD Annual Meeting attendees is $179 per night, single or double occupancy.
NASD attendees will receive complimentary Internet access in their guest rooms. Complimentary Internet access is also available in public areas of the hotel.
Annual Meeting Attire
Business attire is appropriate for meeting sessions and is acceptable at all restaurants.
Special Needs
The plated Luncheon for the Association on Friday, September 13 and Annual Dinner on Saturday, September 14 will feature either chicken or fish as the entrée. Attendees who wish to request a vegetarian entrée should do so in advance by checking the appropriate box on the Annual Meeting registration form. Individual special orders are not possible except for situations where the attendee has a specific requirement for medical reasons. In these cases, please notify NASD staff as early as possible.
Should a registrant desire special assistance or accommodations due to a disability, the registrant may wish to contact the National Office to ascertain whether desired assistance can be provided by NASD. Individuals are asked to contact the NASD office in advance. If registering on site, individuals should speak with a member of the NASD staff at the registration desk.
