Local Area

Tucson enjoys more sunshine than any other city in the United States, about 350 days each year. Temperatures in mid-September range from the mid-90s during the day to the mid-60s at night, with very low humidity. With a high level of dry heat, it is essential to remain hydrated. Attendees are advised to bring sunscreen and a hat for all outdoor activities, and a jacket or sweater for indoor air-conditioning.
